About the event

Music by  Don Laframboise, a favorite local singer.  Listening to and playing country music has always been Don's passion. Being drawn to the heartfelt lyrics, strong melody, and harmonies, Don has honed his skills over the years, singing and playing alongside many talented musicians. Whether he's  playing, classic country songs, or modern hits, he always strives to capture the essence of the genre and connect with his audience on a deep level.

  • Kamui Japanese Curry Contrary to what some may think, Japanese curry isn’t some new culinary fusion fad. Instead, it is a popular dish in Japan that made its debut during the pre-war Meiji era (1868 – 1912). By the 1870s, Japanese curry quickly became a staple food in Japan. Today, it is considered the most popular dish in Japan, more popular even than sushi and ramen!
  • Taste of Egypt food truck  Founder Mary Athanasios  introduced a limited menu in 2020, and her offerings have expanded to include babaganoush, falafel, hawowshi, hummus, baklava and more.  Athanasios wanted to share her home with my community here in Salmon Arm. So she is  saving you 10,000KM in travel by bringing the Taste of Egypt right here in Shuswap, BC.

Our patio is "first-come, first-serve (no reservations)". This is a family friendly event.  Tasting room is open 10:30am to 7:30pm on Wednesdays - grab a glass of our popular patio sipper, Celista Cuvée, on special for $8/glass (Wine Wednesdays only)
