Gewurztraminer - pronounced "guh-Verts-thruh-me-ner is German meaning "herb" or "spice". Our semi-*sweet Gewurztraminer pairs remarkably well with Thai spiced food. Also try with rich fowl such as roast duck, foie gras, goose, turkey or pork chops. It has aromatics of pineapple and lychee nut. Gewurztraminer finishes on the palate with ginger, particularly if actual ginger is used in a dish. Serve chilled.
